Fourth Day in Capri – Friday, May 12, 2017
Breakfast at Villa Eva started what would turn out to be a day of lounging, and separate groups doing their own exploring once again. When we arrived to Capri, the ferry dock and all boats were no longer able to take us out to the Blue Grotto. Carlo, our host at Villa Eva, was originally set to take us out on a trip around the island, but with the dock closed, this changed our plans for the first day in Capri. That is, until today!
Around 4:30 p.m., the group met down at Marina Grande, and were able to take a trip halfway around the island. Once we arrived at our destination, we were able to climb steps to the top of a mountain and jump into the Mediterranean Sea! Following the cliff jump, we took a trip to the Blue Grotto. We loaded up in small paddle boats, and were able to spend a few minutes paddling through the Blue Grotto together.
Once the group arrived back at Villa Eva, we all had dinner on our own, either in the Villa Eva cafe or in the Anacapri center. Tomorrow, we would all meet for a final wine tasting and group dinner for our last day in Capri.
